Borja Urquiola studied Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain, where he obtained his bachelor degree in February of 2016. Then, he moved to Berlin (Germany) where he did five months internship at the “Freie Universität Berlin” working in organometallic chemistry and coordination chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Müller. After that, he obtained in 2017 his Master degree at the University of the Basque Country. He is currently starting his PhD in the design of new Photoswitchable organometallics for catalysis and technological materials under the supervision of Dr. Nathan McClenaghan (University Bordeaux) and Dr. Zoraida Freixa (UPV/EHU).
